Anvir Safaris LLC ("Anvir Safaris," "we," "us," or "our") is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida, United States. We design and coordinate bespoke private safari journeys primarily in Kenya and Tanzania. Our registered office address is available upon request.
Anvir Safaris acts as a tour operator and coordinator. We design itineraries, manage bookings, and coordinate services on your behalf with third-party suppliers including but not limited to safari camps, lodges, ground transportation providers, domestic and charter airlines, and activity operators (collectively, "Suppliers"). While we select Suppliers with care, we are not the direct provider of transport, accommodation, or in-destination services. The performance of those services is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective Suppliers.
A contract between you and Anvir Safaris is formed when we issue a written booking confirmation and receive the required deposit from you. No verbal agreement or preliminary itinerary constitutes a binding booking. The person submitting the booking accepts these Terms on behalf of all members of the travelling party and takes responsibility for ensuring all members are aware of and agree to them.
All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Quoted prices are based on prevailing supplier rates, currency exchange rates, and park fees at the time of quotation and may be subject to change prior to booking confirmation.
Our standard payment schedule is as follows:
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The deposit amount will be specified in your booking proposal. Payment of the deposit constitutes your agreement to these Terms in full.
Balance: The remaining balance is due no later than 90 days prior to your departure date. If your booking is made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking confirmation.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking, with applicable cancellation fees applied.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Anvir Safaris by the lead traveller. The date of cancellation is the date on which written notice is received by us. The following cancellation fees apply as a percentage of the total trip cost:
Deposit paid: Deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances.
90 days or more before departure: Loss of deposit only.
60 to 89 days before departure: 50% of total trip cost.
30 to 59 days before departure: 75% of total trip cost.
Fewer than 30 days before departure: 100% of total trip cost. No refund.
Where individual Suppliers impose stricter cancellation policies (which is common with camps and lodges during peak season), those terms will apply and will be communicated to you at the time of booking. There is no refund for unused services once a trip has commenced.
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against cancellation loss.
We will do our best to accommodate requests to amend your itinerary after booking confirmation. Amendment requests must be submitted in writing. Any amendment is subject to availability and may attract additional costs, including supplier amendment fees. We reserve the right to treat a significant change in travel party size or dates as a new booking.
We reserve the right to make changes to your confirmed itinerary where circumstances require. In the event of a significant change (such as a change of camp or alteration to the core itinerary), we will notify you as soon as practicable and offer an equivalent alternative or, where an acceptable alternative cannot be provided, a full or partial refund of the affected portion. Minor changes (such as adjustments to transfer timings or vehicle type) will be communicated but do not constitute grounds for cancellation without penalty.
Travel insurance is not included in the cost of your safari. We strongly recommend, and in some circumstances may require, that all travellers hold comprehensive travel insurance before departure. Your policy should cover, at minimum:
Trip cancellation and interruption; emergency medical expenses; medical evacuation and repatriation; loss or delay of personal belongings; and flight delay or missed connection.
Safari travel involves remote destinations with limited access to medical facilities. In the event of a medical emergency, evacuation costs can be significant. Travel without adequate insurance is at your own risk.
Many components of your journey, including accommodation, domestic flights, ground transfers, and activities, are provided directly by independent Suppliers. Anvir Safaris acts as an agent in coordinating these services and does not operate, manage, or control the facilities or services provided by Suppliers.
Each Supplier operates under its own terms and conditions, which may include additional cancellation, liability, and conduct policies. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that Supplier terms will apply to those components of your journey and agree to be bound by them.
Anvir Safaris is not liable for any act, omission, default, negligence, or breach of contract by any Supplier or for any loss, injury, delay, or inconvenience arising from Supplier services.
Anvir Safaris does not book or operate international flights. Domestic and charter flight coordination may be included in your itinerary and will be arranged through licensed local aviation operators. International flight booking is the responsibility of the client. We recommend booking refundable or flexible international airfare where possible, or ensuring your travel insurance covers flight interruption. Anvir Safaris is not responsible for missed connections, cancellations, or delays caused by international or domestic carriers.
Safari travel involves inherent risks that cannot be entirely eliminated. These include but are not limited to proximity to wild animals, remote locations with limited medical access, variable road and weather conditions, walking safaris, bush activities, and participation in adventure activities. By booking with Anvir Safaris, you acknowledge these risks and confirm that you and all members of your travel party are voluntarily assuming them.
Anvir Safaris is not responsible for any injury, illness, loss of life, damage to property, or delay arising from these inherent risks. In all circumstances, the guidance of your guide or camp host takes precedence over personal preference while in the field.
You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your travel party are in a suitable physical condition to undertake the itinerary as planned. If any member of your party has a health condition, disability, or mobility requirement that may affect their participation in safari activities, this must be disclosed to us in writing at the time of enquiry, and no later than at the time of booking.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate special requirements, including dietary restrictions, accessibility needs, and medical considerations, by liaising with Suppliers on your behalf. However, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met in remote safari environments. Where a disclosed condition is likely to affect the safety or wellbeing of the traveller or other members of the party, we reserve the right to decline or modify a booking.
We recommend consulting your physician before travel, particularly regarding recommended vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and altitude considerations where applicable.
It is the responsibility of each traveller to hold a valid passport and to obtain all required visas, travel authorizations, and health documentation for the countries visited. Requirements vary by nationality and are subject to change. Anvir Safaris may provide general guidance on entry requirements as a courtesy, but we accept no liability for any traveller who is denied entry to a destination country due to insufficient documentation.
Anvir Safaris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemic or pandemic, acts of war or terrorism, civil unrest, governmental travel restrictions, strike or industrial action, or failure of infrastructure or transport networks. In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to offer alternative arrangements or to recover funds from Suppliers on your behalf, but we cannot guarantee any specific outcome.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Anvir Safaris' total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the affected trip. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own gross negligence or fraud.
We reserve the right to exclude any traveller from a trip, without refund, whose behaviour is deemed by us or a Supplier to be disruptive, dangerous, illegal, or inconsistent with the nature of the experience. This includes conduct that places wildlife, other guests, guides, or local communities at risk.
Where photographs or video taken during your safari include identifiable images of you or members of your travel party, we will seek your consent prior to departure before using that content on our website or social media channels. You have the right to decline, and doing so will not affect your booking in any way.
Where you share photographs or video with us directly — whether by email, WhatsApp, or any other channel — we take that as your permission to use the content for website and social media marketing purposes. If you share content with us and subsequently wish it to be removed, please contact us in writing and we will action your request promptly.
Published reviews and testimonials are in the public domain. We may reference or share these without seeking additional permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or in connection with a booking shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation between the parties. Where negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in English in the State of Florida, in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on our website with the effective date noted above. Continued use of our website or services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
