4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Experience

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Kigali.

Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or explore the city at your leisure. Your guide will brief you about the safari program.

After breakfast, enjoy a Kigali city tour including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial where you will learn about Rwanda’s history and the events of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

After lunch, depart Kigali and drive north towards Volcanoes National Park. The journey offers beautiful scenery of Rwanda’s rolling hills and rural landscapes.

Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and spend the evening relaxing while preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing from park rangers about gorilla trekking guidelines.

You will then trek into the forest in search of a gorilla family. The trek may take between two to six hours depending on the location of the gorillas. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

After breakfast, check out and begin the scenic drive back to Kigali.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit local markets or enjoy a short city tour before being transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
