    01

    Arrival in Entebbe & Optional Mabamba Swamp Tour

    Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet our representative who will warmly greet, welcome and transfer to your guest house.
    Optional Activity ($150 pp): Afternoon excursion to Mabamba Swamp to spot the rare shoebill stork by canoe. Return for an evening at leisure.

    02

    Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

    Depart after breakfast and drive west, stopping at the Equator and Mpambire drum village. Arrive at Lake Mburo for lunch and an afternoon game drive to spot zebra, impala, eland, and buffalo.
    Optional: Boat safari, guided nature walk, or cycling.

    Travel to Bwindi via the Highlands

    Begin with a short game drive as you exit Lake Mburo. Drive south through scenic hills and tea plantations, passing Mbarara and Kabale en route to Bwindi.
    Arrive in Nkuringo and relax, or opt for a community visit or a guided forest walk (optional).

    Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

    Early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a gorilla tracking briefing. Trek through dense rainforest to meet a family of mountain gorillas—a life-changing experience.
    Return and unwind, or take an optional evening walk to the “Top of the World” viewpoint.

    Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha

    Travel north through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions.

    Optional: Hike across Bwindi (13 km, $155 pp) instead of driving.

    Safari & Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth → Kibale Forest

    Morning game drive in QENP, followed by a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel—a haven for hippos, elephants, crocs, and birds.
    Continue to Kibale via Fort Portal, with an optional hike to the ‘Top of the World’ viewpoint.

    Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland (Optional)

    Track chimpanzees in Kibale Forest, home to 13 primate species.

    Return to Entebbe

    After breakfast, depart Kibale and drive back to Entebbe, arriving late afternoon.
