    01

    Arrival in Entebbe & Optional Mabamba Swamp Tour

    Arrive in Entebbe and transfer to your hotel.
    Optional: Afternoon boat and canoe tour to Mabamba Swamp, home to the rare shoebill stork and diverse birdlife.

    Scenic Drive to Bwindi via the Equator & Lake Bunyonyi

    Enjoy an early breakfast, then travel across western Uganda’s scenic countryside. Stop at the Equator and Igongo Cultural Center for lunch, and enjoy the view of Lake Bunyonyi before reaching Nkuringo, nestled on the edge of Bwindi Forest.

    Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

    With an early start, head to the park HQ for your briefing. Track one of the habituated gorilla families in either Nkuringo or Rushaga sector. This emotional and unforgettable encounter will stay with you forever. Optional sunset walk to “Top of the World” viewpoint.

    Explore Nkuringo – Cultural & Nature Activities

    Enjoy optional activities:

    • Nombe Forest hike & birdwatching – $46 pp

    • Lake Mutanda canoe excursion – $75 pp
      Or simply relax at the lodge with sweeping volcano views.

    Return Drive to Entebbe

    After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe, stopping at Lake Bunyonyi (if missed earlier) and having lunch at Igongo Cultural Center. Arrive in Entebbe late afternoon.

    ✳ For outbound flights, we recommend booking only night departures or arranging for an extra night in Entebbe.
